Happy birthday, J-Hud! The singer turns 33 on September 12.

With her amazing performance at the BET Awards on June 29, Jennifer Hudson proved that she’s not slowing down any time soon. J-Hud turns 33 on Sept. 12, and what she has managed to achieve in just one year is nothing short of incredible. Hudson’s Birthday — Singer Turns 33 On September 12

On Sept. 21, 2013, a track from the American Idol alum’s forthcoming third studio album was released via her website. The song, titled “I Can’t Describe (The Way I Feel),” features T.I. J-Hud later performed this song alongside Chaka Khan, Evelyn Champagne King, and T.I. at the 2013 Soul Train Awards on Nov. 8.

In October, the Academy Award winner continued to show us that she’s also an incredible actress by starring in the coming of age drama, The Inevitable Defeat of Mister & Pete, alongside Jordin Sparks, and Black Nativity. 

And in Nov. 2013, Jennifer was awarded with the 2,512th star of the Hollywood Walk of Fame!

On June 20, 2013, she released the music video for “Walk it Out,” featuring Timbaland. The track, which she performed at the 2013 BET Awards, is the first single off Jennifer’s forthcoming third studio album.

Her third album, JHUD, will be released on Sept. 23, 2014, so it definitely looks like Jennifer has a bright year ahead of her! We can’t wait to see what she does next.
